Significantly Improving Team Productivity
When you look around, most teams succumb to dysfunction of one type or another. A recent HBR study found that a whopping 75% of cross-functional teams are dysfunctional and don’t meet their goals, and teams within functions often don’t fare much better.

IT’S TIME TO GO UPSTREAM
Most organizations do their best to hire good talent to staff teams and provide teams with the needed resources and then expect the teams to deliver their results. The problem is - as the research shows - the great majority of teams simply don’t.
Precious few organizations have delved deeply enough into the ‘the black box’ of what the necessary conditions for highly productive teams are, and have not equipped their team leaders with a mental model and management methods to continuously improve team productivity.
In this hybrid work era, it’s especially important to carefully cultivate the right environment that supports highly productive team work. Working on team work (removing the black box) by providing the right mental model and methods will greatly enhance the productivity of teams across your organization.
